Purchases on the website use a MyColdKey account so your payment can attach to a license — same idea as the homepage line: sign in with that email in the app, then Sync Purchases.

Before you buy — register, confirm email, then sync in the app

Register and confirm your email before you complete checkout. That way we can attach your purchase to the right account. After payment, open the desktop app, sign in with that same email, and click Sync Purchases so the license appears.

Already use the app? At checkout, sign in with the email you use in the app.
New customer? Choose Sign up, complete email verification if Cognito asks — then pay. Same user pool as creating an account inside the app.

Air-gapped or cannot sync? After purchase, use Account Settings → Devices & Activation → Offline Activation in the app and contact support with your activation request file if needed. See Checkout for the full steps.

Is this a one-time payment?

Do you see my data?

No. Encryption and decryption run on your device; we don’t receive your vault contents. Cloud+ is end-to-end encrypted — you hold the keys.

Can I use it offline?

Yes. Core encryption and recovery work fully offline. Cloud+ sync is optional and E2E encrypted.
